Responsibilities
- Maintain and process shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses
- Receive merchandise, organize and maintain the Receiving area, utilize equipment appropriately, merchandise items, and complete required documentation
- Track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area, and utilizing technology for reporting and documentation
- Maintain facility safety by following safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Comply with company policies using the Open Door Policy and apply them in business processes
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, communicating progress, and recommending improvements
- Embrace differences, create a culture of belonging, build team relationships, mentor others, and promote integrity, ethics, and compliance
- Deliver results with customer focus, make decisions based on reliable information, drive continuous improvements, and support others through change
