  • Experience resolving customer needs, complaints, issues, developing action plans, and providing process improvement leadership
  • Financial acumen to drive performance and sales, review P&L statements, manage budgeting, forecasting, expense control, merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes
  • Ability to develop action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals
  • Supervisory skills including hiring, training, mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and ensuring staffing needs are met
  • Leadership in leading teams through teaching, training, active listening, touring stores, providing feedback (Tour-to-Teach), communicating, collaborating, utilizing technology, introducing change, and communicating objectives
  • Proficiency in controlling merchandise loss, identifying performance goals, building accountability, measuring adherence to loss prevention policies, reviewing inventory variances, conducting audits, and monitoring trends
