Responsibilities

  • Articulates levers that influence data, ensures data quality, organizes processes/information for analysis, develops/implements technology changes across processes
  • Operates tools/equipment for evaluating air/water/waste pollution, supports regulatory visits, prepares audit reports, participates in pollution control/management evaluation, assists in integrating environmental considerations into process design, interprets/evaluates compliance/risk reports, assists in developing policies/practices/procedures, implements environmental policies/practices, ensures compliance with legislation
  • Explains operational functions/key roles of department/unit, clarifies department roles/relevance to strategy, describes interdependence of functions, identifies primary operational functions, locates/reads SOP/OBW information, locates fundamental practices/policies, lists common tasks/activities of operations
  • Owns delivery of assigned project activities/tasks, supports process updates/changes, solves simple business issues, demonstrates functional knowledge of supported business unit/organization
  • Participates in OSHA/other regulatory inspections and internal safety/health inspections, ensures first aid equipment operational and supplies stocked, maintains health/safety records per OSHA, monitors facilities for hazards, uses quality evaluation tools (walkthroughs/inspections), applies continuous improvement processes/evaluates quality impacts, participates in root cause identification for accidents, reports violations/accidents, implements audit requirements, creates action plans for audit findings, validates claim records, works with workers' compensation case managers
  • Works with theft prevention tools, recognizes/investigates security breaches/thefts/vandalism and reports to management, assists in implementing access controls
