Requirements

  • Must be flexible around branch hours (Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Friday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm)
  • Knowledge of computer systems, S&T sales skills, product knowledge, and bank policies/procedures
  • CARE certified within 6 months of hire
  • Demonstrates understanding of S&T sales process and comprehensive knowledge of S&T policies/procedures

Responsibilities

  • Operate customer service window efficiently: identify customers, verify transactions/authenticity, protect against fraud (e.g., verify balances, place holds, document ID)
  • Accept deposits, verify endorsements, issue receipts
  • Accept checks/coupons for cashing, verify endorsements/balances, refer to management if needed
  • Handle savings deposits/withdrawals and related duties
  • Provide additional services (e.g., bank money orders)
  • Accept loan payments or other payments
  • Balance window cash daily
  • Perform ATM settlement where applicable
  • Assist in vault balancing where applicable
  • Profile customers to recommend S&T loan/deposit products
  • Utilize sales tools (e.g., LoanFit, sales binders) to enhance customer experience
  • Complete S&T sales process, document notes in systems
  • Develop customer profiles, identify needs, close business, perform follow-up calls
  • Build professional relationships to increase loyalty
  • Identify add-on selling opportunities and make recommendations
  • Contribute to branch goals/sales/service standards per playbook
  • Execute sales/service behaviors aligned with bank's purpose, values, core drivers
  • Perform follow-up calls to new account customers for satisfaction/leads
  • Perform outbound calls per playbook/scripts to grow relationships
  • Participate in branch sales call campaigns
  • Perform data entry, prepare documentation for new/existing accounts
  • Maintain accounts, answer questions, solve problems, handle check orders
  • Perform customer service duties (e.g., deposits, cashing checks, withdrawals)
  • Prepare loan applications using LOS software, coordinate loan documents
