Requirements

Ability to obtain a security clearance
3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in product-driven environment
Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
Strong portfolio showcasing design work with an emphasis on usability, interaction, and visual design
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and user research methods
Familiarity or knowledge of other design technologies, such as Storybook and/or Locofy
Communication and collaboration skills, ability to present and explain design concepts to variety of audiences
Bachelor’s degree in visual, graphic, or interactive design, or related degree

Responsibilities

Collaborate with software engineering team and other engaged stakeholders to turn ideas and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
Create polished mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma and similar design tools
Refine and improve designs based upon feedback collected through user feedback and usability testing
Maintain and contribute to design systems, ensuring consistent brand and product experiences
Work as part of the Product team to ensure designs balance user experience with product strategy and technical constraints
