Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of related experience maintaining machinery and industrial service equipment including turbines, fans, motors, generators, and pumps (experience maintaining CAT 3500 series preferred)
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements
  • Maintain compliance with WWM’s drug and alcohol program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, various operating systems, and basic math skills
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call outs and emergencies
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting charts, assembly, and instruction manuals
  • Knowledge and experience using measurement tools as well as complex equipment including Bolting, Hydraulic Bolting, Flange Management, Small Bore Piping, Basic Rigging/Lifting, and follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines
  • Ability to work in changing climate conditions
  • Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 75 lbs. and be able to work in tight spaces, climb to and work from elevated platforms, ladders, walkways, etc

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine evaluations of gas turbine engines and hardware for maintenance needs in accordance with technical specifications, routers, manuals or other quality verification criteria using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, rulers, calipers, protractors, and torque wrenches
  • Audit integrity of systems, perform testing and troubleshoot component failures and malfunctions as well as recommend corrective procedures and conduct maintenance as needed including repairs and installations
  • Manage procurement process of inventory with vendors
  • Document and maintain all records of assembly, asset evaluations, disassembly of machinery, improvement recommendations and all work performed on machinery, components and/or hardware
  • Outline company standards, procedures and recordkeeping forms related to quality assurance of turbine engines
  • Manage maintenance program to ensure that the Company remains in compliance with the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA)
  • Comply with safety and environmental practices in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Attend safety trainings, maintain required certifications to perform job duties, set example of high safety standards and assist in regulatory inspections
  • Occasional travel, including overnight visits, to other compressor locations will be required
