Requirements

  • Must be studying to obtain a degree in Chemistry (Junior or Senior)
  • Completion of core Chemistry courses: Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and associated labs
  • Must possess good laboratory analytical skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • Able to apply advanced math skills and use involved problem solving
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be RCRA compliant

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
  • Prepare samples for Distribution, FP, Water Treatment, and Foam Control
  • Practice good laboratory safety techniques
  • Assist chemists in completing lab requests and projects
  • Ship small quantities of hazardous materials
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned
  • Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required
  • Review changes/additions with your supervisor
