CDL (B) License: Required
Customer Service Skills: Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations

Responsibilities

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle
Report any safety issues on standard reports
Safely operate a heavy truck along a designated route, following route sheets and servicing customers as assigned
Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate a compactor, and dispose of collected material
Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to procedures
Monitor waste for unacceptable material
Clean up spills, adhering to safety standards
Continuously monitor vehicle condition to minimize downtime
Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body (where appropriate)
Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports
Maintain adherence to productivity standards
Follow all required safety policies and procedures
Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
