Position Overview

Cars Commerce is seeking a Treasury Manager to join our Team Finance department, reporting to the SVP, Treasury and Controller. The Treasury Manager will develop a deep understanding of the business to provide insightful analysis of historical cash flow and accurate projections of future cash flows. This role involves utilizing various valuation methodologies to evaluate and recommend capital allocation alternatives for our $700MM+ business. The Treasury Manager will also manage and support financings, debt servicing and compliance, risk management, capital allocation, and assist in maintaining relationships with ratings agencies and insurance providers.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of cash reporting and short-term and long-term cash forecasting.
  • Management, servicing, and tracking of outstanding debt, share repurchases, and other capital allocation strategies, including debt refinancing.
  • Management of corporate banking relationships, including accounts and payment methods.
  • Management of the Share Repurchase Program and its execution per management direction and approval.
  • Confirmation and settlement of FX transactions.
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with the bank group, rating agencies, and bondholders, including periodic discussions and preparation of materials for meetings or conferences.
  • Evaluation and recommendation of investment options and financial instruments that align with the organization’s treasury objectives and comply with Corporate Financial Policy.
  • Management of quarterly, annual, and incurrence-based debt compliance.
  • Support for the annual insurance renewal process.
  • Support for long-term planning efforts tied to capital allocation alternatives.
  • Quarterly contributions to the 10Q/10K and other public disclosures.
  • Execution, adherence, and monitoring of compliance with Treasury policies.
  • Execution of Treasury-related internal controls integral to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Treasury role.
  • Strong analytical ability and modeling skills, particularly related to cash flow forecasting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
