Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis (Google Sheets, MS Excel); familiarity with business intelligence or analytics tools (e.g., Sage, SEI) is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Understands the basics of international shipping, including key terms and documentation like bills of lading and air waybills
  • Capable of engaging with internal partners, understanding their basic needs and how they fit into the logistics process
  • Understands the importance of meeting customer needs in logistics, including timely delivery and accurate information
  • Ability to interpret basic data sets, create simple reports, and understand elementary logistics concepts such as inventory turnover and supply chain flow
  • Ability to identify routine logistical problems, like delays in supply chain, and suggest basic solutions, and understand how to use company resources to resolve these issues
  • Capable of carrying out logistics tasks under supervision, including data entry, preparing shipping documents, and tracking inventory levels
  • Timely completion of individual tasks with attention to detail, and maintaining adherence to organizational policies

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze transportation data, including costs, delivery performance, and utilization metrics
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports to support management decision-making
  • Assist with route planning, scheduling, and network optimization to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support the evaluation of carriers, third-party logistics providers, and transport partners
  • Monitor and improve current relationships with the regional transport partners by participating in collaborative projects that lead to improvements in their overall performance
  • Improve the overall performance of the distribution network by monitoring the KPIs of the regional transport partners while performing data analyses to propose process improvements to increase their overall performance
  • Support daily operations by coordinating with our 3PL partners
  • Support the EMEA region by providing logistical support for internal transports
  • Ensure that any and all internal IT systems align with our 3PL partners and accurately represent operational reality at all times
  • Participate in inter-departmental logistics projects and co-operate with other internal departments on requests they have
  • Any other duties as reasonably required
