Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Forklift license
Basic computer proficiency, including data entry into manufacturing software systems and functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to read and write English
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees

Responsibilities

Know and follow general company, corporate, and department policies and procedures
Receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, measuring devices, materials, equipment, and other items
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other devices for asset movement
Maintain accurate records of tools issued to employees/departments; take periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed
Use computer databases to enter transactions, validate information, and maintain accurate asset accountability
Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment; requisition stock to replenish inventory
Clean, oil, inspect, and perform minor repairs on equipment; dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment per established procedures
Ensure measuring devices are periodically calibrated
Assist other departments with movement and/or delivery of company assets as requested
Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well with co-workers, and follow work rules and procedures
Perform other various duties as needed or assigned
