Responsibilities

Perform quality control checks on title examinations
Review title evidence package, verify information against product requirements and adherence to service level agreements
Identify trends and report information to management (approximately 50-60% of time)
Perform title search and examination of the chain of title for a broad geographic region for vacation ownership properties
Search, examine and prepare ownership and encumbrance reports, commitments/ preliminary title reports, volume-based search worksheets, foreclosure date downs and foreclosure product(s)
Understand, review, and insert requirements related to power of attorneys, bankruptcies, and life estates related to real property conveyances following procedures
Abstract records, such as easements, restrictions, and encumbrances to determine ownership and legal restrictions and verify legal description of property and completeness of records
Review declarations to prepare an inventory listing of the possible interest combinations in the project for inventory tracking
Identify issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory information contained in title documentation
Other duties as assigned
