Requirements
- Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
- Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
- Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance, complete paperwork and logs
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics, and integrity
- Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, identify priorities, communicate progress, adapt to change, and recommend improvements
- Interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration, mentoring, educating associates, and providing customer service
- Ability to identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, resolve issues, and handle complaints, safety hazards, and product/service problems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service
- Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, products, and selling techniques
- Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make business decisions, adapt to new tools, and encourage others to use them
- Communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers/process transactions, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/problems, complete documentation, ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, resolve issues/concerns, and work hands-on in the physical area
- Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service/products, develop/influence/inspire team members in a respectful/supportive/team-oriented style, assist in training
- Implement action plans using Open Door Policy, execute business processes/practices
- Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, carry out tasks, communicate progress, address improvement opportunities
- Embrace differences, create inclusive workplace, build team relationships, communicate positively to motivate/influence, mentor/develop others, recognize contributions
- Maintain/promote integrity/ethics/compliance, model Walmart values, hold accountable, support regenerative goals, act humbly/honestly/fairly/transparently
