Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track returns and special orders, maintain inventory, and complete paperwork/logs
  • Ability to communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs, report complaints, safety hazards, and product/service issues
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, educate/mentor associates, develop interpersonal skills for customer service
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, adapt to change, and use data/resources effectively

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, and mentor new technicians
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, tire/battery services, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, and make business decisions
  • Communicate needs for equipment/tools/supplies to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions
  • Work hands-on in the physical area, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/product issues
  • Complete paperwork, logs, and documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged/labeled/stored per policies
  • Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues/concerns
  • Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, develop/inspire team members in a respectful/supportive manner
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive culture, build team relationships, mentor/develop others, recognize contributions
  • Maintain integrity/ethics, hold self/others accountable, support Walmart values and regenerative goals
  • Deliver results with customer/member focus, using Open Door Policy and business processes
