Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance standards
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics and integrity
  • Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
  • Interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration, mentoring, educating associates, and providing customer service

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, tire/battery services, TPMS, product specs, POS systems, and selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions
  • Communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions
  • Work hands-on in the physical area, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/product issues
  • Complete paperwork, logs, documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged/labeled/stored per policies; assist members with purchases and resolve issues
  • Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, develop/influence/inspire team members in a respectful, supportive manner
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive culture, build team relationships, communicate positively, mentor/develop others
  • Maintain/promote integrity, ethics, compliance; model Walmart values; act humbly, honestly, transparently
  • Deliver results with customer/member first, using Open Door Policy, addressing improvement opportunities, adapting to change
