Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality
  • Expertise in leveraging digital tools, handheld technology, and being an early adopter of new tools for sales, service, and decision-making
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, complete paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Skills in operating cash registers, processing transactions, and hands-on work in the physical area
  • Proficiency in proactive planning, ordering equipment/tools/supplies, expense controls, tracking returns/special orders, staffing, and scheduling
  • Capability to develop, communicate, and implement processes by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyzing information; monitoring progress; and addressing improvements
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity standards, Open Door Policy, and ability to promote compliance

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan, contribute to club success, communicate goals, set guidelines/expectations, execute programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Maintain and share expertise by training the team on daily processes, new products, technologies; leverage learning resources; attend training conferences for continuous improvement
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement; use handheld tech for immediate decisions on services, safety, products, and training; encourage team adoption
  • Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain neat/clean/safe work area; order supplies with expense controls; track returns/special orders; assist in staffing/scheduling; operate cash registers; work hands-on for member service
  • Train/teach team for effectiveness, monitor e-learnings/trainings completion; identify potential, develop skills for high-quality services; encourage career growth; source new talent internally/externally
  • Demonstrate, promote, support compliance with policies/procedures/ethics by explaining, guiding, implementing action plans, using Open Door Policy, and assisting with corrections
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources/tools, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptation to change
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive culture of belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected
