Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Experience analyzing security logs generated by Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
Experience performing security analysis using Security and Incident Event Management (SIEM) technologies (e.g., ARCSIGHT, SPLUNK)
Experience performing analysis utilizing IDS consoles
Total of 10 years of applicable experience (e.g., High School + 10 years, Associate’s + 8 years, Bachelor’s + 6 years, Master’s + 1 year, PhD + 0 years)
Linux experience (preferred)
One of the following certifications preferred: Security+, CEH, GCIA, CISSP or similar
Office presence 5 days per week at customer site in Fairfax, Virginia

Responsibilities

Primary analysis and remediation of security incidents
Support 24x7x365 Security Operations Center by monitoring security tools, assessing threats and risks to client infrastructure
Provide Tier 2 analysis and remediation response to security incidents for managed services customers
Provide firewall change management and change control services
Follow standard operating procedures for detecting, classifying, and reporting incidents under supervision of SOC Manager and in partnership with Tier 2 SOC Analysts
