Requirements

  • Eligible for high level UK Security clearance
  • Proven experience within a Third Line Support role (2+ years desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC, and Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and FSLogix
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support models
  • Operations knowledge – VMWare, HyperV, XenServer, Invanti
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems, including Windows 10 & Win11
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of supporting UK Secure Paradox solution (Becypt)
  • Desirable: Analytics, specifically Systrack / Nexthink (training provided)
  • Desirable Qualifications: Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualisation (CCE-V) or equivalent; Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE); Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments
  • Passionate about technology, natural problem solver, ability to work with an Agile Team, self-driven, focused on continuous improvements

Responsibilities

  • Provide Third-Line Technical Support for incident escalations & problem record progression
  • Act as point of contact for Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, and NetScaler
  • Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues across Citrix platforms
  • Manage and optimise Citrix policies, profiles, and user experience
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to design and implement Citrix solutions
  • Support patching, upgrades, and migrations of Citrix components
  • Perform both proactive and reactive problem record progression and root cause analysis
  • Take a pro-active approach towards defect management resolutions as part of technical assurance activities
  • Work confidently with internal and cross capability teams alongside account and customer engagement
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
