Requirements

  • In-training licensure or fully licensed (eligible for retention bonus)
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • Knowledge of empirically supported therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, family therapy)
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments
  • Proficiency in developing individualized treatment plans
  • Skills in providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Experience with evidence-based counseling and support in clinical settings
  • Ability to educate patients on mental health/substance use conditions, self-care, and treatment options
  • Strong documentation skills, completing records within required timelines
  • Capability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (internally and externally)
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional conduct
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
  • Knowledge of reporting suspected abuse/neglect per state law and system policy

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaboration among interdisciplinary team to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services interventions for assigned caseload and support systems
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address patients' needs and goals
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify mental health concerns, strengths, and challenges
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and guide implementation of clinical interventions, including facilitating treatment team meetings
  • Provide counseling and support using evidence-based techniques to manage symptoms and improve well-being
  • Educate patients on their conditions, self-care strategies, treatment options, costs/benefits of engagement, and aftercare plans
  • Document patient progress, therapy sessions, goals, and interventions within required timelines
  • Collaborate with treatment team members (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, case managers) for coordinated care
  • Report and document suspected cases of physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect per state law and system policy
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical initiatives/projects for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate professional conduct, interdisciplinary collaboration, and assertive communication
  • Receive feedback productively for personal and professional growth
  • Support changes in staffing/scheduling as needed for program and patient care
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain patient and facility safety
  • Perform other duties as directed by manager/clinical operations supervisor to support patient care and system initiatives
