Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of bilingual (Japanese and English) consulting experience, including 3+ years of end-to-end implementation of SAP projects
- SAP S/4HANA functional delivery experience across manufacturing modules (PP, MM, SD, QM, PM) with at least 2 or more full-cycle SAP implementation projects
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2) — able to conduct workshops, document requirements, and coordinate across Japanese and global client teams
- JLPT N1 or N2 (mandatory)
- Graduation in any subject (mandatory)
- MBA from Tier 1 or 2 business school (preferred)
- Deep functional knowledge in SAP Manufacturing (PP/MM/SD/QM/PM) modules with cross-functional understanding of logistics and supply chain
- Experience in S/4HANA Manufacturing, Production Planning, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) integration
- Ability to perform fit-gap analysis, design configuration solutions, and translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills to engage with C-suite stakeholders
- SAP Certification (PP / MM / PM / SCM) (good-to-have)
- Experience in integration with Finance and Logistics (good-to-have)
- Exposure to SAP Best Practices, LEAN manufacturing processes, and Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, Predictive Maintenance, Digital Thread) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Drive design workshops with the client, responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, and gap analysis in S/4HANA areas (PP/MM/PM/SCM)
- Lead team of functional consultants for tasks related to design workshops, configuration, testing, UAT, Cutover, GO-Live & Post GO-Live support activities
- Drive SAP-led manufacturing transformation projects focusing on modules such as PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Support business assessment and roadmaps for clients
- Provide client advisory on S/4HANA led transformation to overcome client’s business challenges
- Assist with solutions for end-to-end RFPs (request for proposal)
- Develop accelerators, reusable assets, and POVs (Points of View) focused on Intelligent Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Digital Twin concepts
- Advise clients on SAP processes based on leading industry practice
- Experience in proposal development, solutioning, and client advisory for SAP transformation initiatives
