Description: Keywords Studios is seeking native speakers of various languages to join our video game localization reviewer team. Candidates who successfully complete the selection process will join our candidate bank and be contacted when a suitable job opportunity arises. The role involves correcting and reviewing game video content, ensuring consistency, and providing feedback.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency:
  • Native-level German (spoken and written)
  • Proficient English (written and spoken) – Requires effective communication in English (oral and written) due to ongoing interaction with clients and teams outside Quebec.
• Location: Must reside in the Montreal area.
• Availability: Must be available to work from home or in the office as project needs dictate.
• Work Authorization: Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, possess a work permit, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Time Management: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable with digital technologies (computers, gaming consoles, touchscreens).
• Interest: Genuine interest in the video game industry is required.
• Experience (Preferred): Experience in a relevant field or with video games is an asset.
• Previous Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Correcting text and game content (spelling, grammar, typography).
• Verifying the consistency of text and suggesting changes where necessary.
• Writing error reports.
• Performing minor and simple translations.
• Verifying that subtitles match the audio tracks.
