Responsibilities

Define safety measures for smooth testing in the laboratory and ensure safety of laboratory personnel in collaboration with the R&D safety referent
Define test controls and procedures based on equipment specifications and regulatory technical files
Develop and evolve test protocols, instructions, procedures, and specifications to verify device operation, simulate functionalities, and test under extreme conditions according to safety standards
Develop test plans and organize their execution
Lead the development of predictive tools upstream of projects (modeling, finite element analysis, etc.)
Analyze non-conformities and determine possible corrective actions
Identify areas for improvement in equipment performance and safety
Direct non-conforming products based on dysfunction types to relevant services (production, quality, design offices, etc.)
Provide technical support to production, quality, maintenance services, etc
Ensure organization and monitoring of a technical database (standards, nomenclatures, etc.)
Supervise the writing of test protocols and reports
Coordinate relations with subcontractors (planning, test reports)
Lead and coordinate a team
Supervise microbiology laboratory activities in compliance with associated safety rules
Establish the laboratory budget within the R&D department
Define human and material resources needed for project deployment
Verify the validity of calibration and calibration certificates for measurement instruments
Develop laboratory activities, expertise, and propose continuous improvement initiatives
