Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in a software product development environment
Knowledge of how to test REST API
At least one year of experience in SRA (Security Remote Access) Testing
Preferred: Direct experience with web-based technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Angular
Preferred: Direct experience with C++, C#, or other relevant programming languages
Preferred: Knowledge of automated test tools
Preferred: Knowledge of testing integrated software products
Preferred: Knowledge of software test methodologies
Preferred: Apply data structures and algorithms
Preferred: Basic knowledge of object-oriented designs
Preferred: Experience architecting modular software
Preferred: Direct experience with the Industrial Automation industry
Preferred: Direct experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams

Responsibilities

Collect, contribute to and document requirements for a feature and its components, ensuring that we contain the information required to develop software and corresponding test cases in the specifications
Test Common Services (CS), including REST API; test Angular apps if possible; perform SRA (Security Remote Access) Testing
Develop unit test plans
Report, debug and correct anomalies
Take the lead in the integration of other components by solving problems within subsystems to produce a final product
Participate in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation
Estimate, plan, develop test suites, test cases and automated tests to ensure appropriate functional test coverage is attained
Ensure documented test cases and specifications validate documented software requirements
Perform product testing, reporting on problems encountered and documenting test results for follow-up
Determine the origin and cause of anomalies identified
Think outside the box and research and explore new avenues by using the latest technologies and standards
Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments in complex control system concepts
Foster a team-oriented environment with open and direct communications
Seek knowledge of new developments in software engineering, computer engineering, and test automation fields and identify and pursue career development opportunities
