Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's in Tax or JD/LLM and CPA designation being preferred. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in U.S. federal, state, and international income tax, including public accounting and in-house corporate experience, is required. Strong technical expertise in ASC 740, U.S. international tax provisions, and compliance is essential, along with proven ability to manage tax provision processes for multinational companies. Experience in fast-paced environments, preferably eCommerce, SaaS, or digital retail, is preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite or Oracle, tax compliance tools such as OneSource or CorpTax, and exposure to OECD Pillar Two or BEPS 2.0 are also required.
The Temporary Tax Senior Manager will lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision processes, including the preparation, review, and disclosure of tax footnotes. This role involves managing deferred taxes, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions across U.S. and international entities, while ensuring SOX-compliant internal controls over tax reporting and interfacing with external auditors. Responsibilities include partnering with global finance teams and local advisors for timely filing of U.S. federal, state, local, and international income tax returns, and maintaining accurate documentation for transfer pricing and foreign tax credit positions. The role requires monitoring global tax reform developments, identifying strategic tax planning opportunities, supporting M&A due diligence, and evaluating the tax impact of digital marketplace operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and support for indirect tax matters are also key duties.
