Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or highly-related role with strong emphasis on automation
15 years full time education
Expert-level proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, ELK stack, or similar)
Hands-on experience with automation tools including RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and general IT automation frameworks
Deep understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Knowledge of database technologies and SQL
Knowledge of Agentic AI

Responsibilities

Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability
Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting
Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using languages like Python, Go, or Shell scripting to automate repetitive tasks, system deployments, and operational workflows
Implement and manage Splunk (or similar monitoring tools) for comprehensive logging, metric collection, dashboard creation, and proactive alerting to ensure service health and performance
Manage and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment process
Implement and support RPA bots for automating business and IT processes, focusing on stability, security, and scalability
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis (RCA); systematically identify and engineer away toil
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to manage and provision infrastructure in an automated and repeatable manner
