Good to have skills: Spring Boot
Deep understanding of challenges associated with SaaS
Demonstrated servant leadership skills
Extensive experience in designing complex, distributed cloud systems
Broad and profound technical knowledge from front-end UIs to back-end systems
Significant experience in design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) and implementation or enhancement of new and current systems
Significant experience in system engineering involving analytical systems design and implementation
Fluency and specialization with modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python
Experience in building products using microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs
Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
Preferred: Fluency in DevOps

Responsibilities

Design and deliver technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement
Define solutions to meet performance, capability, and scalability needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications based on product management and architectural initiatives
Drive Architectural Governance activities
Seek platform convergence
Plan across engineering initiatives and new feature delivery to balance customer delivery and organizational health
Identify opportunities for improvement in applications and provide actionable recommendations to teams
Assist and mentor development staff in the delivery of product features
Build successful teams with a learning culture by providing direction and fostering communication
Assist teams with technical conversations, driving towards action and successful customer outcomes
Build strong relationships with team and stakeholders
Care about customers and the impact of software on their business outcomes
Demonstrate willingness to learn and adjust processes for improvements
Provide feedback to peers and teams to instill a learning culture
Communicate clearly with executive leadership, peers, and development teams
Lead design sessions and conduct code reviews to elevate engineering quality
Mentor team members to achieve success in goals and contribute to projects
Influence and build vision with product managers, team members, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems
Manage new feature delivery, production operations, and set expectations
