Requirements

  • Ability to set up and configure various low voltage systems (e.g., security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling)
  • Proficiency in running, terminating, and labeling cables according to project requirements and industry standards
  • Capability to perform regular maintenance checks, identify and resolve issues, and fix faults in low voltage systems
  • Skills in providing technical support, training end users, and addressing customer inquiries professionally
  • Knowledge to ensure installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Adherence to all safety guidelines and maintenance of accurate records and reports
  • Ability to evaluate systems for upgrades, perform upgrades, and stay current with industry trends and technologies
  • Proficiency in team leadership, collaboration, communication with clients and teams, and adapting to change
  • Competence in developing and implementing processes, promoting compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Low Voltage repairs in Sub Regions 357 and 336A
  • Assist in the operation of multiple facilities and perform additional assigned duties
  • Set up and configure low voltage systems
  • Run, terminate, and label cables per project requirements and standards
  • Perform maintenance checks, identify/resolve issues, and fix faults to minimize downtimes
  • Provide technical support, training to end users, and address customer inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with regulations in all installations and repairs
  • Follow safety guidelines, maintain records, and generate reports on system performance and maintenance
  • Evaluate and upgrade existing systems as needed
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, project managers, and clients
  • Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and ensure timelines/quality
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs and monitor progress
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support company policies, ethics, and compliance
