Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure various low voltage systems (e.g., security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling)
  • Run, terminate, and label cables according to project requirements and industry standards
  • Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability
  • Identify and resolve issues in low voltage systems promptly to minimize downtimes
  • Fix faults or damages in systems to restore optimal working condition
  • Provide technical support and training to end users on operating and maintaining systems
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • Generate reports on system performance, issues resolved, and maintenance activities
  • Evaluate existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed
  • Perform system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards
  • Work closely with technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion
