Requirements

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als BTA/CTA/PTA etc. oder abgeschlossenes naturwissenschaftliches Studium
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich der mikrobiellen Kultivierung von Bakterien und Hefen, sowie in der Handhabung von Fermentationsanlagen
  • Umfangreiche Kenntnisse in den relevanten Analysemethoden
  • Teamfähigkeit, Verantwortungs- und Qualitätsbewusstsein
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Flexibilität bei den Arbeitszeiten und Bereitschaft zur Schichtarbeit (montags bis freitags, 6:00 Uhr bis 22 Uhr)

Responsibilities

  • Konzeption, Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Versuchen
  • Fermentationen im Labormaßstab
  • Mikrobiologische und molekularbiologische Arbeiten (u.a. Herstellung kompetenter Zellen, Transformation, Kultivierung von gentechnisch veränderten Mikroorganismen) sowie ggf. deren Dokumentation nach GenTG
  • Analytische Methoden (u.a. photometrische Methoden, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot)
  • Allgemeine Laborarbeiten: Aufrechterhaltung der Ordnung und Sauberkeit sowie Sicherheit im Labor, Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit von Rohstoffen und Verbrauchsmaterialien
  • Übernahme von Geräteverantwortlichkeiten: Sicherstellung der Funktionalität, Organisation von Wartungen und Reparaturen, ggf. Durchführung von Kalibriertätigkeiten
