Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management roles, with a strong background in automotive manufacturing particularly with coating and bonding processes
  • Metal and plastic bonding experience
  • E-Coating experience
  • Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications are helpful
  • Strong leadership and collaborator management skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Expertise in data visualization, KPI/KAI tracking, and executive reporting
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to oversee technical teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts and technical issues effectively

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined scope, quality, time, and cost requirements
  • Develop and run program schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project partners
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results
  • Communicate regularly with senior management regarding the status of specific projects
  • Coordinate with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources
  • Resolve technical and operational problems within the given project scope
  • Monitor and report on program status regularly to ensure project deliverables are on time and within budget
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or risks that could affect the successful delivery of the project
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Ensure adherence to established standards and methodologies
  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives across the Coating and Bonding process, with a focus on budget forecasting, ERP, digital tools, training programs, and long-term planning
  • Ensure the effective and timely launch of the general assembly line and integration with other OEM manufacturing processes, performance improvement, and innovation in the automotive sector
