Requirements

  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
  • 8 to 14 years of experience in the technical skills mentioned
  • Three or more software project lifecycles at Aptiv or a company with a similar engineering process
  • Prior experience in designing and programming microcontrollers and processors
  • Very good knowledge of tools for programming microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Team oriented
  • Honesty in relation with company, customers and co-workers

Responsibilities

  • Assure to follow existing Aptiv standards in SW development process
  • Collecting and analyzing SW requirements
  • Support SW Architect in developing SW architecture
  • Preparing SW design documentation
  • Designing SW modules
  • Preparing and performing tests to verify SW work products
  • Supporting System Engineer to define system architecture
  • Keeping contacts with customers in area of software tasks
  • Cooperate with local and remote software teams
  • Accomplish tasks in accordance with Aptiv quality standards and schedules
  • Continuous development of professional qualifications
  • Support innovation and organization programs
  • Care for good company image
  • Care for confidential information and company’s property
  • Utilize expertise in embedded systems design and development to implement and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) for automotive electronic control units (ECUs)
  • Experience in creating description of the software architecture, defining each software component in a static point of view and designing dynamic behavior
  • Experience in planning and describing of the software memory map
  • Competency in collaboration with system and hardware engineers to review and improvement of hardware requirements and specifications, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance of BSPs on target hardware platforms
