Requirements

8+ years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams
Ideally, previous experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and/or Platform Engineering environments
Proven track record of management skills in areas such as conflict resolution, multi-reporting, roadmap planning and backlog management
A software engineering background with the ability to comfortably speak in technical jargon
Familiarity with DevOps principles and workflows
Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability concepts
Strong knowledge of metrics, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
Strong knowledge of infrastructure and/or application performance considerations
Proven experience leading engineering teams
Experience with international projects and remote teams across multiple locations
Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

Define the product vision and strategy for internal products related to observability, monitoring, and performance
Partner closely with Platform and SRE engineers to prioritize work and evolve internal tooling
Understand the needs of internal engineering teams and balance technical requirements with broader business goals
Manage the product backlog, define acceptance criteria, and oversee delivery progress
Support initiatives that improve system scalability, reliability, and observability
Lead discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Promote best practices in DevOps, instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting
Gather and refine playable requirements
Define product requirements, working closely with development and business teams
Leverage solid communication with stakeholders to guarantee constant progress and alignment
Serve as the first point of contact for clients and business stakeholders
