Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including S-Corporation, C-Corporation, partnership, multistate, and individual filings
  • Conduct initial reviews of Staff-prepared tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Develop income tax projections and prepare estimated calculations for clients
  • Perform in-depth tax research and draft clear, concise technical memoranda
  • Prepare work papers for book-to-tax differences and address technical tax issues
  • Refine expertise in a specialized area of taxation, enhancing technical knowledge and skills
  • Build strong, effective relationships with clients and team members
  • Identify potential tax issues early in the engagement planning process
  • Communicate professionally with the IRS and state tax authorities when necessary
  • Mentor and train Staff and Interns, providing valuable feedback and guidance
  • Maintain open communication with management regarding project progress and milestones
  • Actively participate in both attending and facilitating professional development and training sessions
