Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred
CPA certification (active or in progress) required
4+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or comparable environment
Advanced understanding of Federal and State income tax laws and the principles of individual and business taxation
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments effectively
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – with a focus on clarity and professionalism
A high level of client service excellence and a proactive, problem-solving approach to tax issues

Manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, and individual clients
Conduct a detailed first-review of returns prepared by Staff and Senior Associates, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare and review income tax projections and estimates to support clients’ financial planning needs
Research complex tax issues and prepare well-documented technical memoranda, communicating findings in an accessible format
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members, offering strategic insights and tax expertise
Mentor Staff and Interns, providing guidance on tax matters and return preparation, and supporting their professional growth
Handle communications with federal and state authorities as needed, including responding to notices and inquiries professionally
Continuously expand your knowledge in specific tax areas, adding to the firm’s expertise
Maintain clear communication with management on project progress, ensuring timely and accurate completion
