Responsibilities

  • Lead and review the tax compliance process, demonstrating deep technical understanding of hedge funds, private equity funds, carry vehicles and SPVs
  • Fully understand how tax positions and reporting impact the entire fund structure and affect investor outcomes
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal technology teams to enhance efficiency and implement process improvements across the tax function
  • Serve as a partner with Head of Tax and Head of Tax Compliance to drive technology changes and value-added services
  • Act as an excellent project manager with the ability to manage across the entire team
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills: articulate, persuasive, tactful, and keep superiors, colleagues, and external constituents well informed
  • Be motivated to challenge the status quo and lead initiatives that improve and streamline the tax compliance process
  • Be intelligent, analytical, and pragmatic—able to balance high standards with practical execution
