Requirements

  • Working towards or recently completed a relevant qualification (e.g., ATT, part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA)
  • Currently working in a tax focused role, minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Familiarity with tax compliance, reporting, and planning processes
  • Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards

Responsibilities

  • Prepare UK Research & Development Expenditure Credit (RDEC) and Patent Box claims
  • Collaborate with external advisors to prepare UK and international tax returns
  • Calculate or review corporate tax payments and ensure timely settlement across the group
  • Prepare US GAAP tax provisions, including return-to-provision adjustments
  • Prepare the PAYE Settlement Agreement, CT61 and VAT return, in conjunction with accounting teams
  • Contribute to ad-hoc tax projects and strategic initiatives as required
