Experience in designing, developing software enhancements, new products, and maintaining software
Expertise in full product development lifecycle including specification, architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration
Ability to apply subject matter expertise to solve common and complex technical problems and recommend alternatives
Experience collaborating with product management and cross-functional teams to define software functional specifications and system architecture
Skills in developing and analyzing design, determining coding and integration activities, and writing/executing complete test plans
Strong collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders, including status updates and issue resolution
Ability to lead a team of engineers, provide technical leadership, and mentor less experienced staff

Responsibilities

Design, develop software enhancements, new products, and maintain software for Nonstop's security product portfolio
Engage in the full product development lifecycle including specification, architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration
Apply developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommend alternatives
Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define software functional specifications and system architecture
Develop and analyze design, determine coding and integration activities, write and execute complete test plans based on general objectives and knowledge of the overall architecture
Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, representing status and issue resolution for responsible scope
Lead a team of engineers, providing technical leadership to develop high quality components for the assigned product or subsystem
Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members
