Knowledge on Batch Monitoring, Alerts handling, Abend Handling & Escalation procedures
Good Knowledge on ITSM practices (Incident handling, Change/Service Request)
Good Knowledge on SDSF parameters
Collaborative Team worker
Flexible to work in shifts
Good Communication skills
Location: EGL, Bangalore, India
Willingness to work shift timings: 6 AM – 3 PM, 11 AM – 8 PM

Responsibilities

Provide Operational Support in the Control M Environment (Distributed and Mainframe)
Monitoring and Escalations of Control M batch job failures and delays
Abend Recovery of all production Control M batch jobs on time
Batch Cycle SLA management
Request Processing - Implementation of temporary (one time only) Scheduling changes for Control M batch jobs
Addressing Space issues, Contention and fixing them
Adhoc Request Processing with one time production changes
Work closely with management to handle and send communication on major issues
Drive Initiatives, standardize the process, and bring in automation to reduce manual work
Run batch related Sev bridges and get the appropriate status cascaded
Resolving critical jobs that would affect the application batch flow based on documents and errors (e.g., Space Abends, time out error, Utility terminated or table space error)
SNOW – Incident, Change & Service Request processing
