Requirements

  • A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in related field such as Technical Operations, Data Center, Trading, or Network Environments
  • Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, including essential command-line operations, and the ability to read and write scripts (Perl, Python, or Bash)
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across global teams
  • Comfortable with tools and processes for system monitoring, incident management, and application support

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily technical operations, including application management and support for Nasdaq services
  • Perform real-time monitoring of systems for software/hardware errors, failures, and capacity issues; troubleshoot and escalate as needed
  • Execute startup/shutdown procedures, recovery processes, scheduling, backups, and monitor batch processes
  • Troubleshoot order entry and market data connectivity issues with clients, exchanges, and network providers
  • Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems hardware and software while ensuring security compliance
