  • Willingness to be on-site in Memphis for commissioning and critical operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical, mechanical, and thermal integration of Megapack-based BESS with on-site substations, inverters, and AI compute loads
  • Develop control strategies and firmware logic for dynamic load balancing, peak shaving, and frequency regulation tailored to AI training power profiles
  • Perform capacity modeling, cycle-life forecasting, and degradation analysis using field telemetry and digital-twin simulations
  • Commission systems, validate nameplate performance, and implement predictive maintenance protocols to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with Tesla Energy teams on custom firmware, hardware revisions, and supply-chain scaling for xAI-specific duty cycles
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE 1547, and local grid interconnection requirements; author interconnection studies and reliability reports
  • Drive root-cause investigations for any energy anomalies and implement corrective actions across the fleet
