Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE), with at least 8 years of systems hardware development and debug experience, including expertise in digital, multi-gigabit, and high-frequency, low-noise analog interfaces. Deep knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity design practices is required, along with familiarity with at least two of the specified electrical interfaces such as USB3+, PCIe, ThunderBolt, DisplayPort, HDMI, SATA/SAS, Ethernet, LPDDR4/5, and GMSL. Experience with microcontroller and FPGA development environments, as well as proficiency in C, C++, and Python, is also necessary.
The Systems and Validation Lead/Manager will be responsible for working with a team of validation and characterization engineers to ensure product qualification, collaborating across multiple functional groups to meet overall product design and quality requirements. They will design characterization test, system-level test, and demonstration systems incorporating MCUs, discrete logic, FPGA, multi-gigabit, and analog circuitry, including requirements gathering, specification, schematic, layout, and mechanical design. The role involves working with company buyers to review schematics and layouts, engaging with customers to identify custom requirements, creating and editing test plans based on system specifications, executing product qualification from a mass production perspective, mentoring team members, and developing test scripts for controlling test equipment to determine IC device characteristics. Additionally, the position requires familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and BERTs, understanding of mechanical and thermal concepts, and experience in creating and simulating models of wired links.
Licenses high-performance semiconductor IP cores
