Requirements

Basic experience in Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering (knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
Good interpersonal skills (may be required to lead a junior team)
For customer-facing roles: ability to develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE; ability to explain technical information to others
Strong oral and written communication skills (Desired)
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs (Desired)

Responsibilities

Conducts component and product integration (activities spanning multiple components and products for maximum performance and operability)
Manages product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down
Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system-level testing
Defines product requirements for module/component/subcontractors and partner teams
Manages interfaces between components and execution organizations
Drives CTQ/Risk trades within teams designing the components
Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system
Broadens knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy (may include support roles with specialized technical knowledge)
Uses basic understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work; understands how own team's work integrates with other teams
Makes decisions with some autonomy within a defined framework; resolves issues requiring good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures (consults senior team members as needed)
