Requirements

High School Diploma, or equivalent, in progress or completed
Previous experience participating in and coaching within freestyle/freeski at a state/local event
Previous experience maintaining venues in accordance with criteria set by US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA
US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership
Knowledge and understanding of US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA rules and regulations
Familiar with event travel and prepared to travel as needed
Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid, and CDC Heads Up Concussion certifications
Additional industry certifications or endorsements preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to foster positive relationships with parents and athletes
Ability to make quick, effective decisions for safe and best-practice coaching

Responsibilities

Execute a comprehensive in-season programming plan put forth by the Program Manager
Recognize industry trends and advancements and incorporate into seasonal goals and daily training plans
Maintain positive dynamic communication plan to inform constituents of training schedules, updates, event details, opportunities, policies, and philosophies
Understand and uphold concepts for growth opportunity and program improvements, including expanded programming, camps, and social activities
Maintain excellent guest and employee rapport and ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
Develop strategies to expand insight into customers and maintain strong relationships
Attend daily meetings as required and step in as backup for daily operations
Maintain appropriate asset protection and inventory control
Prepare venues as needed for training and competitions
Supervise training venues to ensure safety and that only authorized individuals are within boundaries
Participate on working groups pertaining to the program
Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff
Provide on-hill management of athletes
Assist with building and maintaining training and event venues
Additional duties as assigned
