Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is required, along with familiarity with front-end technologies like ReactJS or back-end frameworks like Spring, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities are also essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with RESTful APIs, test automation frameworks, Test Driven Development, API documentation tools, version control systems like Git, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps fundamentals, along with self-motivation and teamwork skills.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and RESTful APIs. They will collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality code through peer reviews and AI tools, write clear documentation and sample code, and participate in Agile ceremonies. Responsibilities also include writing and maintaining various types of tests, troubleshooting and resolving software defects, adhering to coding standards and secure practices, and continuously learning new technologies.
