- 10+ years of surveying experience or comparable survey coursework with degree
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, surveying, or engineering preferred
- Virginia Licensed Surveyor
- Valid Driver's License and safe driving record
- Supervisory experience, leadership skills, as well as written and oral communication skills
- Excellent client services and client management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and following AMT survey protocol
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent survey task assignments

Responsibilities
- Supervise office and field survey staff
- Prepare survey task outlines with the role and responsibility of each survey staff assigned to the project
- Perform kickoff meetings with engineering managers and clients to confirm the limits of the survey, the scope of work, and key deliverables
- Briefing and Debriefing of field crews on daily work performed
- Oversee scheduling of field and office survey staff
- Correspond and coordinate with clients
- Perform quality control checks of field survey data collection and office survey computations and completed survey drawings
- Provide mentoring for survey office and field staff
- Perform troubleshooting on challenges encountered on survey task assignments
- Prepare proposal scoping and fees
- Track project schedule and budget
- Project Invoicing
- Responsible for the financial outcome of survey tasks and projects
- Establish task outline and survey procedures for each task assignment
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews for each task assignment
