Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tendering, online registration, Medicare, and pricing matters in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, and Xinjiang provinces
  • Develops and implements reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain coverage, coding, and payment from payers/providers
  • Provides reimbursement-related advice to product development teams, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical, and business leaders
  • Identifies payer opportunities and issues and implements programs to resolve/decrease barriers to entry for the company's products or therapies
  • Works closely with Health Economics and Outcomes Research staff to evaluate the economic impact of the use of therapies/products on payers, including the government
  • May create training and deliver education programs to sales force, physicians, home care agencies, case managers, hospital CFOs, medical directors, billing personnel, and pharmacists in clinics and hospitals
  • Delivers and/or manages assigned projects, works with stakeholders to achieve results, and may act as a mentor or direct work of lower-level professionals
  • Sets objectives for own job area to meet project goals, contributes to project milestones, and may be involved in cross-functional assignments
  • Solves general problems by making adjustments or recommending enhancements in systems and processes
  • Communicates frequently with internal contacts and less complex external interactions to share information, gain input, and support decision-making
  • May provide guidance to entry-level professionals or support staff
