Candidates should possess advanced scripting skills in Python, GoLang, Ruby, or Bash, along with a strong understanding of internet core protocols such as DNS, TCP/SSL, and HTTP. Experience with the Ethereum JSON RPC specification, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible, and managing Linux hosts is required. Expertise in proactive alerting and monitoring systems, technical customer support including troubleshooting and CLI tools, and the ability to set up unfamiliar software are also necessary. Previous experience in blockchain technology is considered a bonus.
The Support Engineer II will handle technical support requests, debug Web3 requests, and translate customer issues into actionable items for the developer team. They will be responsible for quickly resolving customer issues and documenting their processes. Engineers are expected to participate in customer support on a rotating basis to better understand customer needs and collaborate on solutions.
