Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering, or equivalent knowledge through professional expertise
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week at the Dallas, TX or Peoria, IL office

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Right Part Right Time methodologies to illuminate Velocity defects
  • Analyze data to identify critical supply chain gaps and lead projects to define root causes and establish and implement permanent corrective actions
  • Identify, define, and implement integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities
  • Establish and govern effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions
  • Investigate and recommend industry benchmarks, metrics, and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets
  • Provide Assurance of Supply support across the Integrated Components Division
  • Perform analysis to identify and develop business improvement opportunities and to evaluate return on investment (ROI) of the opportunity
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement supply chain improvements
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain continuity
  • Collaborate with product group value chain, dealers, and manufacturing teams to align supply chain design and conformance expectations
  • Utilize various systems to assess dealer or Product Distribution Center inventory, assess dealer sales, and assess dealer orders
  • Demonstrate knowledge with managing the supply chain after factory shipment
  • Quantify and discuss benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches
  • Utilize conformance targets at various points in the supply chain to determine actions
  • Participate in supply chain network design or redesign projects or processes
  • Create and monitor mechanisms for process integration with business partners
  • Develop, refine, and communicate tactical plans for own responsibilities
  • Provide the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development
  • Demonstrate the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan
  • Ensure attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans
  • Plan for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives
  • Under guidance, report measurement results in actionable form to management
  • Interpret and analyze results vs. established benchmarks
  • Establish short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function
  • Use assigned measurements for own function or specialization
  • Under guidance, develop action plans to achieve those goals
  • Ensure the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts among individuals, groups, and departments
  • Practice positive collaboration and convert difficult interactions into productive ones
  • Guide participants in a conflict to rethink their current views
  • Demonstrate good judgment in deciding when to involve a third party
  • Make parties aware of case studies of constructive and destructive conflicts
  • Surface disagreements in early stages
