Requirements

Electronic/Electrical Engineer Degree (typically 4-year degree) and minimum of 5 years of related experience
Competent in both written and verbal English
Demonstrable knowledge of quality engineering and manufacturing processes with ability to solve complex problems
Technical understanding of electronic systems and components, with proven track-record in supplier quality management
Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS 9120, AS 9100, ISO 13485, TS 16949)
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (8D, Kaizen, reporting tools, SCAR)
Excellent analytical and technical skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills for supplier interaction and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to travel in Asia region and to Arrow’s main hubs in Hong Kong and Malaysia
Self-starter able to develop a supplier quality program in Asia with moderate guidance

Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality activity across the Asia region
Maintain and continually improve Arrow’s quality system using data to define improvement opportunities
Support ISO 9001, AS 9120, AS 9100, ISO 13485, and TS 16949 certifications
Follow and manage Arrow’s internal supplier quality documentation process and support internal/external supplier quality audit programs
Support supplier on-boarding process
For identified suppliers, perform on-site process and QMS audits to reduce non-conforming material
Act as escalation level for regional warehouses on supplier errors (e.g., receiving documentation errors, packaging issues, damaged/non-conforming/wrong parts)
Drive down defects impacting end customers by monitoring complaints and driving supplier root cause analysis, corrective action, and verification of effectiveness
Apply engineering background to review, critique, and evaluate supplier 8D/CAPA documentation
Generate monthly KPIs in line with Arrow’s Quality Enterprise group targets and support strategic projects and yearly Hoshin planning for Asia region
Present supplier performance results to senior management and stakeholders
Monitor supplier quarterly performance per Arrow procedures, generate and present quarterly scorecards to suppliers to improve performance
