Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with Major in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or relevant
  • 3+ years SQE experience with related industries like power Generation, Oil and Gas, Automobile, Railway etc
  • Familiar with equipment or part like inlet/exhaust/fluid system, pressure vessel/heat exchanger/Generator Base/gear box (reducer)/tree frame/pipeline or machining parts
  • Fluent English and Chinese Speaking and Writing capability
  • Ability to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development including qualifications, action plans, audits and performance monitoring
  • Driving supplier selection through robust qualification processes. Accelerating improvements in supplier quality and deliver value
  • Tracking project progress and ensure on time delivery
  • Developing positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers
  • Interfacing with Suppliers and Supply chain to drive Quality improvements
  • Delivering results by key metrics - Cost of Quality/Cost of Failure, qualification on time rate, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness and corrective/preventative action closure
  • Driving improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement plans
  • Lead/support product qualification, conduct surveillance audit (QMS/SRG/TRS/Process/Product)
  • Ensure supplier quality to global standards and lead continuous improvement where there are performance issues
